LEED Commissioning

LEED Commissioning is similar to New Building Commissioning with the addition of the USGBC’s LEED documentation requirements. EMA’s staff of LEED accredited professionals will work throughout the project to ensure the documentation requirements are submitted and the prerequisites and points are achieved.

Retro-Commissioning

As buildings age, their systems fall out of specification, and become less efficient and effective. Retro-Commissioning is a systematic and documented process that identifies no and low cost improvements that improve the efficiency and performance of a building. EMA identifies opportunities for increased energy efficiency and reduced operating costs.

The Retro-Commissioning (RCx) Program offered by CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric promotes the tune-up of major energy-consuming systems in existing commercial buildings.
